\nPosition Summary
\nWe’re growing quickly across 4 continents and have many exciting technologies to support! We are looking for someone with strong knowledge and experience of supporting cloud & internal server infrastructure to support our flagship, homegrown web application in addition to other corporate systems. This position will help transform our infrastructure to the next level of automation, security and stability.
\nJob Description
\nCore responsibilities will include the following areas:
\n● Maintain and monitor the cloud infrastructure in AWS.
\n● Deploy/Update cloud instances using Chef.
\n● Define network and security structure using CloudFormation.
\n● Check for security issues in AWS using tools such as Trendmicro Cloud Conformity and Rapid 7 IDR.
\n● Maintain and monitor the network infrastructure between AWS and our 10+ North America locations.
\n● Create/maintain scripts to automate processes.
\n● Research new technology for improvements
\n● Work closely with the Development and IT Operations teams to provide needed tools and resources.
\n● Additional duties as assigned.
\nPosition Requirements
\n● 4-6 years relevant work experience.
\n● Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
\n● Strong knowledge of Chef and other services offered in AWS.
\n● Experience with application containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
\n● Experience with vagrant with Virtualbox and QEMU.
\n● Experience with implementation of CI/CD.
\n● Strong understanding of cloud security.
\n● Strong knowledge of Linux operating system.
